 | This last Friday the 12th of June I finally got off my fat butt and started cleaning up the front yard where I had stored some salvaged lumber and galvanize roofing. I had planned on using the salvaged roofing to replace the tarp over my workbench on the north side of the house, but after more thought I've decided to just get new galvanize roofing ...so it was time for the old crap to go to the garbage bin. |
| There were 2 long pieces about 12' long that I drug over one by one and boy did that make a racket. So much so that when I got to the bin with the second piece Max was waiting and watching me, and kinda chuckled when I told him what I was doing. He told me to just use his truck and that he'll bring it over in a bit, and I could load up the rest of the old roofing and just drive it over. |  |
 | Thanks to Max's truck, getting the rest of the old roofing to the bin was easy. |
| Saturday morning, the 13th was time to finish the job and move the salvaged lumber back behind the water tanks on the east side of the house. |  |
 | It took several more trips dragging lumber back behind the water tanks, and then with the wheel barrow for the shorts and the rebar and angle iron. |
| All told it only took about an hour or so to clear out the front yard |  |
 | And get the lumber and steel organized, a bit off the ground behind the water tanks |
